Hi -

I'm new here and looking for some help on choosing another Kershaw knife. I have a Scallion, Blackout, and a Blur already.

What I am looking for is what models of the Kershaw knives are larger than the Scallion and also have the little "bump" on the base of the blade that when folded you can use your index inger to open the kife with, and also have the spring loaded "speed assist" opening mechanism?

Both my Blackout and Blur have the spring assist, but I wish they both had that little "bump" on the blade to make them as easy and as fast to open as the Scallion.

Thanks -

Eric

The new Shallot - it has a 3.5 inch blade but is still real thin like the Leek. Also, it doesn't have thumbstuds. And it looks great. :)

As mentioned above, the Shallot is an excellent choice. My personal
favorite is the Leek. If you haven't checked either of these out, do so.
Both great knives IMHO.

Welcome to the forums!! :)

Thank you for the suggestion, but I do not want to turn off the speed assist feature.

What I am really after is which knives in the line offer BOTH of the features I am looking for so I can choose the one I like the most from what is available.

Thank you again for the suggestion though, I will add that one to my list of knives I am looking at. :)
