Kershaw numbering?

I received a Kershaw “Needs Work” today in the mail and it is labeled “First Production 1 of 500”. Did I get the first one or is there a 2, 3, 4, etc… of 500?

Nope. All 500 will say 1 of 500. It's just to designate that there are 500 in the run.

And welcome to the forum. Go forth and spend money on more knives.

It is 1 out of 500, not #1 of 500. I still don't know why kershaw puts it on there.
