Good deal. Glad to hear that.
13C26 turns out to be what I prefer for my needs.
I finally got the edge on this knife dull. Which was exceeding my expectations day after day. I have opened and closed this knife thousands of times. I took it apart twice due to a torsion bar rattle and had the wrong torsion bar the 1st time and second time everything looked good. So I buttoned it back up with the old torsion bar to see if it would give me any trouble. None, never and solid lock up every time.
I wanted to dull it so I can learn how to sharpen this steel due to the number of Kershaws I have in 13c26. Literature I have from when I purchased it in Dec 08 said 14c28n. I just noticed and was wondering.
This Blur cut a mile of cardboard and other softer material before loosing it’s edge. I was surprised. Not looking for enhanced corrosion resistance and preferring a tiny bit more carbon makes 13c26 just fine for it’s application I have for it.
Nice job on the Blur Kershaw. :thumbup:I think I’ll keep my Red, Gray, Black, Black Tanto. Never did get that Blue Blur. I wonder what the premium steel models deliver????
Thanks for the answer J. Mattson
