kershaw od1 loose flipper

k i just got a kershaw od1 and the flipper that you push down on with your index finger to open the knife with is a little loose. is it loose like this on all od1 models or did i just buy a broken one? thanks guys.
 
It's really tight on the one my brother got from kershawguy, was a little tough to flip open before getting used to it.
 
I have two OD-1s, and there hasn't been any wiggle in the flipper lever on either of them (assuming that's what you're talking about when you say it feels loose). Give Kershaw CS a call and they'll be able to tell you for sure if it's abnormal and, if so, will take care of it for you.
 
The mech can have a little play in it. A few OD-1s have passed through my hands and they've had a little wear-in room. The Mech works fine and it locks up perfectly. I wouldn't worry about it - go use it! :thumbup:

Sounds good. Unless it bothers you or affects the function of the knife, it's nothing to worry about. And if it ever does become an issue (i.e., affects functionality), Kershaw will definitely take care of it for you. :thumbup:
