Kershaw Offset/Bump cross breed!!????

I am a big fan of Ken Onion designs. Well while paasing through his site of customs, I noticed a pic of a custom knife that looked as if it was an Offset/Bump cross breed. To check it out go to www.kenonionknives.com and look in the Archive Gallery. A short ways down the page you will see two pictures (pretty close to each other) on the right hand side labled Distorted. One knife has a brown bark like handle and the other a blue handle with a curl design in it.

Now this is not a bump! It looks like it has the thickness of the offset, nose, and a hint of it's handle design. The 'bump' is there instead of the offsets point, which gives it that cross breed look.

I don't know if this is just a Ken Onion only knife or a planned kershaw production knife, but I do know that I like it and hope there is one comming my way. Any info on this would be great.

I see the Bump in it more myself. The Offset is defined to me by those sharp points where the Bump has smooth waves. Design wise, the Bump and Offset appear extremely similar, though...the biggest difference is in materials. That's just my opinion, of course.

While I see your point, I feel as if the size and shape (esp. handle and top of blade)borrow heavily from the Offset, which is why I consider it a cross-breed of sorts. I was hoping someone here had some info on this knife's size, name or avalability. Thanks for the pic, did you see the blue handle one?

Surely the forum you cite is the right one to ask the question.
It's obviously not a third production besides the Offset and the Bump but a custom knife, so not a crossbreed but a precursor of both.

Tristram . . .Yeah, I guess your right, I had some trouble with my profile/password, got frustrated and came here . . . maybe later.
