I've been looking at that knife for a while now, I think it's a pretty badass knife. I've found them for ~$150, but I always hold off because it's a fair chunk of change. I'm not sure how useable the blade shape is on the Offset, does it actually function well or is it all for show?

I also have a hard time spending the money on it because I know I could buy another ZT knife for that much (already have a 0200 and 0551). I'm still on the fence over this knife, and I probably will be for a while longer. If I do decided to buy it, I think it might me more based on the fact that it is a discontinued model and it looks badass.

The blade shape is pretty useful and is similar to the Bump's (dual personality) without the fine point. The front part of the blade gets your knuckles away from surfaces you are cutting against. The inner part gives you a more hawksbill like experience.

The Offset has two torsion bars and gives a really satisfying kick.
The studlock works well and has the added benefit of being ambidextrous.

The ZT question is tough, especially if it will see heavy use. I will point out that the handle does feel similar to the one on the 0200 though.

If you do a search of the subforum, you should find a few Offset threads.

I have one, and it's a beautiful knife. It's a bit heavy though. I don't carry it too often, but every time I do, I feel the love. Just for the "Bad-Assery" you have to have one. It may not be your most carried or used knife, but you will definitely be glad you have it. The quality is outstanding. The lock it great. The blade is very well thought out. And it's just fun to open!

The handle and size looks very similar to the 0200. I've handled an offset at a knife store before, and I later bought a 0200. I'm wondering if they're going to be so similar the badass feeling will be diminished. I still think it's a badass knife though, maybe when I've got some extra cash I'll grab one, but the ZT flipper has got dibs first.

I've been wanting one for a long time...just haven't gotten around to picking one up. I love everything about it except the pocket clip...wish it was smaller and had a simple kershaw logo instead of that design.

I too really like that knife. It looks interesting to use. When I first saw it I thought, "no way". However, the more I see it, the more interested i've become. I'd like to handle one before buying it, but the local knife shops here do not have anything but standard Leeks, Blurs, and the elusive Breakout (another knife I really want).
