Well I am new to this site and can't give a comprehensive review, but I will tell you what I think of this knife and what I do know.
First off let me say that although many think the splatter paint on the handle is in poor taste, (an opinion I once had) I can say that it must be seen in person to appreciate it's beauty. It is much darker in color and the metallic color and surface (3d machined) really stands out. Another plus in this design, is the fact that it really personalizes the knife for it adds a "fingerprint" quality to it as for no two offsets are the same! As for the speed safe, this knifes big blade is equipped with double pumpers (the mechanisms that thrusts the blade out) which allow this blade to be deployed as fast as their other smaller knives. Which I should also mention, this knife is a beast in size compared to most folders. It easily out weighs the bump and is quite a bit larger and the blade is much wider. If I learn how I will post pics here later.
The grip is fantastic and the 3D machined feels slick, comfy and secure all at the same time. Its blade is very appealing to me. I do own the bump and in a certain way they are similar in the fact that they both have a very efficient curve in the blade that allows for much easier cutting. While the bump is, well a smooth bump, the offset has an angled point to it. This I believe makes it to be much more effective on cutting than the bump. This may sound foolish, but I was holding the knife tonight while watching T.V. with my girlfriend, she began to get curious about the knife and wanted to hold it. I gave it to her explaining how it works, after I believed that she was going to hurt herself I gently took the knife out of her hands, in some small way the point brushed past her skin with out me knowing it. She began her little crying about how I cut her (playfully and half joking). I asked where and how because I could not see any marks on her. Not believing in her I told her that she was just crying for nothing and that she was not cut, yet she persisted on saying that she was cut. Looking at her in disbelief I ran the blade down my arm a few times saying, "Look I am Appling a lot more pressure here than could have been place on your hand and no cuts!"
Guess what?! Her hand finally started showing a sign of the small insignificant cut in the back of her hand and then I said "oops" , I quickly looked at my arm and much quicker than hers, I began to see blood. The damn knife cut me so cleanly I didn't even feel it! I swear I 've had paper cuts that hurt more.
(Maybe I should put this story in the Stupidest Thing You've Done with Your Knife thread! )
Needless to say I tried the same thing with the bump and it did not cut me. Not exactly a scientific test as for the offset could be shipped sharper. I will say that this is my favorite knife that I own. It feels great in the hand in any position you hold it in, and is a very original knife in many ways. I haven't been as amazed by any other knife for as long as I have been with this knife. The moment you open the box of your very own you will understand what I am saying. My only gripe is that this knife doesn’t have a safety lock like the bump or leeks, so belt carrying is kind of a risky thing. I would love to see this knife be produce in many different colors and variations (how about a red splattered design?)
My knife collection is mostly Ken Onion's Kershaw’s and I love many of his designs. So you understand how I place this knife in regard to others I will give you a run down of my Collection.
Kershaw KEN Onions: Offset, Bump, Steel Leek, Rainbow Leek, Steven Segal, WhirlWind, Charcoal Metallic Centofante,

I purchased my offset on ebay For about 300$, I know it's pricy, but it is worth my pennny, it is 0005 of 1000 limited edition, I yet to know what makes my limited from the rest but that's what is says, and if any one knows that answer it would be appreciated.
Offset 2005 Blade mag's knife of the year, I think you'll be happy, just don't run it along any part of your skin .. to prove a point or otherwise.
P.S. I'd be happy to post pics if anyone could help me out with that!
Nervermind got it!
