Guys,

I saw a knife in a store today I'm trying to find online, to no avail.

It was a kershaw, marked "onion" on the blade. It had a long narrow blade, and it was a metal handle. The handle was inlaid with a material sort-of like what makes a bathtub floor non-slip.
I've tried to find this knife online, but the closed I can find by name is the Steven Segal knife, which is not what I saw. The knife I saw retailed for $154.

I also saw a BM 710, which looked pretty nice.

I'm heading toward getting both.
(This after I said a few weeks ago I would buy no more knives.)

Follow-up. I think it was a "Blur"

Is this considered an OK knife or is a BM 960 worth the extra loot?

The only Ken Onion Kershaw I know of that has friction tape on the handle is the Blur, but it goes for less than half of what you're quoting.

That price is a way to much for a Blur. Look at the top of the main forum page and click on store. You will save a whole lot of $.

I typed bad. The Kershaw was more like $60. The BM710 I saw was $154.

Anyway, is the Blur considered a good knife? How about the BM 960?
