Here's a Kershaw I got this Sat., It's a Kershaw 2950 made in SEKI, Japan.

I had never seen a Kershaw "Opinel" style twist-lock before, and the guy only wanted a few bucks for it so I couldn't pass it up.

The seller thought it was imported in the 70's or 80's, but wasn't sure. The quality is very high, red plastic handles with black rubber inserts, and it has a full "half-stop" on the blade and locks up rock solid.

About 4" closed and 7" open.

These were in the Kershaw lineup in 1992. They came in two colors and had a suggested retail of $19.95.

Thanks, so he was off on the age!

I have always liked Opinels, but other than the Cold Steel one, hadn't seen one in modern synthetics before.

Should be a nice user!

Interesting Kershaw and terrific photos. Thank you.

It looks like Southern Tactical may have some of these for under $20 delivered. No picture unfortunately. http://www.southerntackle.com/proddetail.asp?prod=KS2950

The name used on their sight is "LE COMPAGON."

EDIT: The had 3 red and black handled ones but they are sold now. Why are you looking at me like that?

All the best,

oregon
