Kershaw Outcast opinions?

I was bumming around online earlier and stumbled upon a Kershaw Outcast. It caught my eye, especially for the price and being made out of D2. Does anyone have experience with one? Good, bad, etc? Also, I couldn't find thickness specs online anywhere, so if anyone knows the thickness of the blade I'd appreciate it. Couldn't find anything about full tang or not either, if this is known by anyone.

Thanks for the opinions guys!

I like mine alot. I can't remember off hand the specs but you will want to work on the edge. I reprofiled mine and it cuts like a champ. A bargain at its price. I paid under $60 I believe with shipping. I'm also a big fan of D2. Most of my experience with this steel is from Dozier Knives though. I am very happy with the Outcast though.

It feels like a full tang, but I'm not sure.

I think you'll find that most people reprofile theirs. The stock profile doesn't preform as well as it could. If you don't want to do it yourself, I've heard good things about Richard's work.

Overall the Outcast is a good price for a big chunk of D2 steel. The handle is comfortable and well designed, too (and I don't like synthetic handles much).

They're an excellent knife available now at a very competitive price point. A large blade of D2 tool steel, especially after being reprofiled, leads to very impressive performance.

I have one and used it some but haven't really taken it out in full bore. It handles great! It is full tang but it is skeletonized. I am not sure of the durability just yet!

I haven't sharpened it up yet and it has been about 6 months though not daily use.
