My wife has a kershaw knife. I do believe it is the volt. It needed to have hay and other crap cleaned out of it. Well in the process I broke two of the screw heads off. So the rest of the screws where left in the other part that holds that screws. Sorry new to the knife game and don't know much of the lingo. Where can I pick up the parts to replace the two broken screws and the holder. I added picks so it makes more sense hopefully. Thanks.

Call Kershaw and let them know what you need, they will send you the parts no charge. The screws on most knives have loctite on them, heat them up with a hair dryer or use a soldiering iron on each one to break the glue loose.

Yep definitely a volt 2 model# 3650. Call them as 2 shot said and then you will be able to accurately explain what is wrong and what you may need. The soldering iron trick described has helped me numerous times and also making sure you use quality torx drivers like the brand Wiha helps more than one would expect. Good luck getting her all back together. Kershaw will treat you right.

Thanks guys. I wish it was a torx. But all of them are Allen bolts. The Allen bolt head broke off. Never thought about the heat trick. Will give that a go next time. Thanks again for the answer and the quick response.

So I was one Kershaws website and was looking at the FAQ's about parts. My wife's knife is not a USA made one. Are the parts that I need different on the foreign built one then the USA built one.

Here's the thing, brother. Generally speaking, KAI doesn't really keep parts for the China-produced knives handy. When folks have problems with their budget blades, they are asked to send them in for servicing rather than Kershaw sending you spare parts.

Who knows? You may luck out though. You mentioned being on their website, have you tried to give them a call yet? We're serious when we say that's the best course of action, especially because you get to talk to a real person and ask as many questions as you'd like.

I had the same knife and they are torx head. If you used an Allen wrench that's probably what did er in. Don't feel bad though I did the same thing when I was new in to blades.

This was my experience when I realized that my OSO Sweet was missing two of the nuts that hold the handle screws in place. Since it's a Chinese made knife, I had to send it in. They sent me a brand new one!
