Kershaw Piston Photo comparisons

You know I take photos for my own comparison of almost every knife that hits my collection, but selfishly I rarely upload the photos to the bucket. The Piston is one that deserves to be shared with the community. This wonderful lightweight option (barely 4 oz!) is slim and has NO steel liners. The pocket clip is a dream and very easy on/off. Also neat features like the Blur thumbstud, Speedsafe opening, four way clip attachment, and hidden lanyard attachment point. Only draw back for me is the finger pain that the flipper inflicts on my finger compared to other offerings from Kershaw. Tremor is pictured as the best representation of the flipper feature. After photos I modified the flipper to ease my pain but the stud is still my fav way to deploy. Otherwise, this knife is a home-run and compares very well to my other most used EDC blades, big and small.

Thanks for the nice clear photos. I do not have the piston but I do have the Knockout & like it very much.

Interesting comparison photos -- thanks.

I wish the a/o could be disabled. Those wonderful Blur-style studs would be a lot more fun to use then.
