Kershaw Polyimide® Question

I have a 'Needs Work" with the poly handle. It opens strongly with a loud "THWACK"! I'm assuming the poly handle is somewhat hollow, causing this loud sound. Has anyone else noticed that? I've considered filling the hollows (if any) with silicone to quiet it. Not being anal, i just like the "snick" of my other AO'S.

I've got a Clash with Polyimide handles and it does make a loud "SNAP" when opening. I kind of like it.
