Hello everyone,

I am going to start making reviews on knifes the have starting with the Kershaw RAM

I like how solid the bolt is which is the blade stop on the knife. The 2 bolts which connect the lower section of the aluminum handles together are of different sizes which I also find to be a huge benefit since they are trying to save weight but make the knife as durable as possible.

To greater succes,

Composite

Just wondering where you got the grip-clip because its different from the one on Gavin Hawk site..

I bought this off Grant & Gavin Hawk they told me that this grip clip is the new version and they are currently working on rebuilding their website to show this current clip. They also said the older version would get caught onto objects so they made this sleeker smaller clip. At first I did not like the clip since I originally purchased it thinking the clip would be the large grip clip since I wanted it to fill my hand more when held the knife. After getting used to this model though, I like it a lot since it is much more concealed than the older version. Also its almost like my Ti-Lock Clip so it resembles something I already know is of good design and quality.

Did you sand any of the G10 scales under this clip? Any problems with the clip slipping out of your pocket due to it's narrowness? Do you think it would work well on nylon hiking/backpacking pant's pockets (much thinner and lighter than jeans)? Sounds like if I want one, I just ask for the "new version" of the grip clip for the 1910...
