it came down to these knives i really want to get one

Kershaw ram: i love the flipper design and i have 2 axis locks to play with already, love the blade shape, and the ergos seem nice

blackfoot: overall the knife looks nice and the s30v steel helps reel me in and the blade shape is the best of the three in my opinion.

Tyrade: the tan handle looks cool and i want to try speed safe. the the recure kind of bothers me... i like the flipper also and it looks massively comfortable...the sizes dont bother me

The RAM is an absolutely awesome knife. Best flipper there is IMO, and the hawk-lock is awesome.

However, the G10 Tyrades are in limited supply so if you have your heart set on one, better pick it up asap.........and then get the RAM shortly after :D

As much as I love the RAM, (I cycle through three of them), I would probably get the Tyrade. I think the Tyrade is a better value. It is very solid and more "hard use" than the RAM. Keep in mind the Tyrade is not a lightweight slicer.

I carry my RAM in my right back pocket and my Tyrade in my left front pocket. Most of the time I use the RAM, it is my favorite knife of all the knives I have. It's the perfect size imo, and I love the flipper. But, when I have have some heavier cutting to do, out comes the Tyrade. That is one awesome knife. It's now one of my top two or three favorite knives.
OK so I only have 13 all together, (not counting the no name cheepies) but I know there still is a few more I "need" :cool ::D

Of the three you mention, the G10 Tyrade is an unbelievable bargain. Last month I bought aTyrade over the RAM. However if you think the LW design is the best for you then you should get that.

But if you're an accumulator like I am then buy the Tyrade now and get the other two sometime in the future. :)

Your two choices really seem between the RAM and the Blackfoot, and between the two I would go with the RAM. It's got a flipper that is so fast you'll think it's AO and the lock rocks. On the other hand if you thinking of getting a Tyrade get one now. They're worth it.
