So I was looking for gifts to give my groomsmen for my wedding and after falling in love with the Kershaw RAM I wanted to get one for each of them. Come to find out it is discontinued! It's by far my favorite EDC knife and am wondering if there are any good alternatives or something similar out there?

The RAM is really one of a kind design, but Kershaw has plenty of other great knives like the Leek, Blur, Skyline, Knockout, and Cryo. And not to mention the new Injection is very cool as well.

The ram is still one of my favorites, it was non assisted but opened so smooth it felt like it was. If you are willing to get an assisted knife I am a huge fan of the blur it is a perfect edc. Not to big but plenty big enough to get the job done and is similar in terms or size and. But it only has thumb studs not a flipper. Not sure of your budget for this but Junkyard dog 2 is a great flipper the Rake is assisted but very slick as well. For a budget assisted flipper the cryo 2 is a pretty nice knife seems like a good value. If you want I can post a compassion pic so you can see size differences. Good luck with your search its always fun buying new knives

If your groomsmen aren't really knife guys, I'd suggest the Leek. It's a classy little knife, not intimidating at all but extremely useful.

The Injection is a classy and affordable choice as well. My 3.5 is smooth as silk;-)

My brother loves his Ram. He snapped the tip off of it but coincidently a local store near me still has at least one in stock that I plan on picking up for him the next time I'm in.... Or keep for myself since its been discontinued :D:

The Kershaw RAM is the only discontinued Kershaw I'd like to see back. Great EDC and flipper action. I have these four mints plus another plain edge satin that I carry often.

The RAM was, and still is, a terrific knife; I gave one to my best friend and have regretted letting it leave my grubby paws since  As a substitute, I'd go for the Blur. Similar size and lots of variety in handle colors and blade configs, so your buddies can each get a unique one. Best of all, the Blur is very affordable, no matter which one you get.
