Seeking advice on sharpening this almost brand new knife?

I have random stones and a Smith's PP1 Pocket Pal Multifunction Sharpener.

I did not notice it until I bought and received a new Cryo and opened a few letters with it.

The leek really has not been used much so it is either easily dulled or came this way.

I don't think I have ever had to sharpen one of my collectable knifes before.

I have just sharpened a few cheapos and kitchen knifes so I am very hesitant to attempt to sharpen this knife but it is the only blade I own with serrations.

Thank You

The Random Leek uses S30V steel, so edge retention should be quite good. S30V can also be a more difficult steel to sharpen (very wear resistant). If you have some diamond stones or good ceramic stones, you can sharpen the non-serrated part on those like you would any other knife. Dunno about the style of serrations on the Random Leek though. Seems like the tapered diamond file (like on your PP1) wouldn't quite get all the way into the serrations.

If you just bought it recently, you might see about exchanging it with the dealer. If not, you might look around locally for someone who provides knife sharpening services. It shouldn't cost much for something as small as a Leek. Kershaw will also sharpen the knives for free (you just pay shipping to get the knife to them - more info here).

I have used the Spyderco Sharpmaker with the serrated knives... works very well.
