Last week i got a Kershaw Red handled Skyline knife...overall its cool..a decent EDC knife..I wish the handle had a little more wieght to it, give it a mor solid feel. I was considering just having it for collection purposes but it came without a box..so its a user...has a steelliner only on one side..agian be nice if it was dual steel liners...anyway..i'll try and get a picture of it up this weekend..

Some people like their knives really light weight. I think the skyline would be great for shorts carry.

My Skyline is still my favorite in my EDC rotation of about 7 knives. It has proven to be plenty strong for all my EDC tasks. Its light weight is what sells it for me.

I just got the red kershaw skyline too. Had the black one for a while. I too am drawn to its light weight and slimness. But I would dig a beefier version of it as well. I think the Groove is prolly a good direction for that. The one I handled was very solid and had that nice heft to it. I've wondered if a had a stainless steel backspacer made for the skyline, if that would make it 'heftier' in a nice way without being out of balance.

As weird as this sounds I have 3 kershaw groves..one of my fav knives..little big for EDC...but its solid and a good knife to feel safe with..no mechanical parts to malfunction!!!
