Can anyone tell me what years the Kershaw Richochet was made and was it a limited production model?
Thanks

I believe it was 98 blade of the year or something like that. Brother to the random task. I don't think it was considered a LE but there weren't a ton made either. So limited production would be about right. I Believe it was s60V and had polished g10 handles. I think they were hand ground at the factory too which made them kind of like a custom production knife. I'd love to pick one up on the cheaper side, I've had my eyes on that model for years!

Here's some pics from a thread awhile back:

Thanks guys. I have these and I'd like to complete the "family" but ive been having a hard time finding the Richochet for a reasonable price. These were some of my favorite Kershaw knives the fit and finish and overall quality on these is amazing for a production knive from the 1990s. I wonder why they stopped using polished g10 as a handle material?

Polished G-10 is not a very grippy material. I turned my Ricochet blade into a clip point. It was originally a drop point. CPM S-440-V is the old designation for CPM S-60-V.

I'd love to see a pic of your modified Richochet if you have one it sounds interesting.
