I just purchased the Kershaw Ruby limited edition # 6 and I can't seem to find anywhere that mentions how many total were made. Anyone know? I just really liked the knife and I hade to get it

You don't really see many of them for sell. When they started selling them I read in an article they sold out in just over a minute.

They had trouble with their servers and the knife was available for about a week afterwards.

When it comes to total production amount for the Ruby I am going to estimate 400-725 total production, of this initial run at least. Kershaw will most likely release a ZT or USA Kershaw version of the Ruby with some materials stepped down in quality in order to make them within lower price points. I would freaking love to own a Ruby! I would actually use it. FFG and ZDP-189? It most likely cuts through nearly anything with next to zero effort. It has to many stand offs but I can tolerate that. The Ruby will likely be a grail knife a couple years down the road. I have yet to find my top of the list grail knives, the original Kershaw Volt and Speedform, in a copy thats a non blem...

I can't wait for my Brous MIni Division flipper , prototype comes in Monday . I am just putting it straight in a case so I can marvel at is beauty. Right next to the Ruby!! Am I knife nutty? Well guess I'm at the right place . Ya'll have a good night.🔪🔪🔪

I wanted that one for the serial number since 6 is my favorite number, but not at the price the guy was asking on eBay.

Congrats on a great knife with a nice low serial number.

I was able to talk him down from the original price ,otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. I am just now starting my collection.

There will be no more rubies made. They used the last of the zdp they had on it. It's also not their 40th anniversary anymore.

Congrats on getting one. They are rarer than people think. Only a few hundred were allotted for the US sale and no one knows how many went over seas.
