I picked up a 1620BL Oct '03 Scallion at a swap meet for $20, never had an edge put on it, it does show very very little carry use.

Question:

Did they use 420HC steel for the blade back then?
Was it actually Made in the USA back then?

Pics in a bit.

Just wondering, thanks

I thought they were made in the USA now. Mine says it is.

The only one without 420HC is the Damascus model, also made in the USA.
It is and has always been made in the USA.

So many things labeled Made in USA are actually only assembled in USA today, I have only recently started to look at kershaw, hence my question. Thanks for the prompt answers, it is comfortable to carry.
