Kershaw Scallion Failure.

Just bought a couple of these about two weeks ago. The one I bought for a guy at work has an issue, The assisted opening mechanism no longer works. Any ideas. Can this be handled without sending it in? The blade still opens and locks but you have to flip it open.

call Kershaw CS and they should send a new Torsion bar.
