Kershaw Scallion Frame Lock question...

So I've been shopping around recently for a good deal on my first Kershaw pocketknife. (I've been a real Spyderco kick lately.) I decided the scallion was the perfect size for what I was looking for, but then I noticed all of the different colors and the framelock vs. the linerlock. Since I don't have a green knife and I don't own a frame lock knife, I decided that a green Kershaw scallion with a frame lock would be perfect.

Anyway, does anyone own such a knife? It seems that the only green scallions I can find on the web include a liner lock. Does the the green scallion even come in a frame lock? If so, I'd LOVE to see some posted pics and know where to find one . Thanks!!

Kershaw's website lets you search by knife features. This link should take you to all the framelocks in their various models.

Doesn't look like they make a green Scallion with a framelock.

iirc, the only framelock scallion they make has stainless steel handle scales. The multicoloured ones all have anodized aluminum scales and liner lock construction.

I have a frame lock, black plastic? scaled one, and the silver aluminum one. the frame lock is my favorite of the ones I own.

Thanks for the input. I just found a deal on eBay that is too good to be true...
It's a brand new green Scallion for only $23 and the description says that it
has a framelock! I wasn't sure if that lock/color combo was even available, and that price seems hard to beat. I'm skeptical, but bought it anyway.
Any opinions on this?

Odds are pretty good whoever wrote the description is full of crap. Unless I'm way off, I don't think kershaw has ever released the scallion w/ framelock in anything other than plain stainless steel...

If it is green it has to be either anodized aluminum or painted steel. If it is aluminum then it will be a liner lock.

Maybe buy the Green Aluminum one, and a Stainless Scallion, and switch the scales.

Any othey opinions ?

If it is a Green Kershaw Scallion then it will be a linerlock.
