Recieved my Scrambler today from Blade Hq. I gotta say i was very impressed. I know its the little brother to the Zt 0600, but the size is just right for EDC for me. The cost was only $40 too. The only complaint so far is the frame lock disengage is a little sharp. I keep looking at the Scrambler and wondering what it really couldve been with premium materials. Any thoughts? Pics to follow

I haven't gotten one of these yet.

It is on the list for sure though.

There was a video made from the Blade Show 2013 featuring the staff of Kershaw and Zero Tolerance knives, along with some of the designers.

Thomas Welk stated in that video that there is another RJ Martin-designed folder scheduled for 2014 in the Zero Tolerance line.

So there should be an official announcement for it at the SHOT Show 2014 in mid-January.

Make an account with photobucket, upload your photos. You will have three links for each photo. Usually you would use the Direct Link, but in these forums it is easier to just paste the IMG Link.

I've been meaning to try out the Scrambler. Question does it have a detent hole so it can be a manual flipper?

I didn't even know these were out yet! I saw a pic on instagram and was like, "wuuuut?" Pics, bro!

broke in pretty fast. very snappy now. blade centering is even perfect too.

thats why i added the backspacer photo, it just gives it that elegant look that sets it apart from other imports.

I'm really surprised there isn't that much buzz about this one, unlike the Cryo's and some on the Injection's.

I think it has a lot going for it:

- Pricing
- Framelock
- Speedsafe-assisted
- G10 on grip area
- "Bolster" effect aesthetic on handle
- Flipper angled well for "firing" and doesn't stick out too much when closed

The one thing I'm not too keen on is that full top swedge. It might not be comfortable when doing precise "thumb push" cuts.

This is one is tops on my wish list of budget folders.

Handled one at BLADE and really liked how it felt in my hand. Bit heavier than I thought, but not bad. Flipped open well, and with good force. Good knife for the money. I'd love to see the same knife upgraded to Sanvik 14C28N.
