Kershaw Shallot DLC blem vs Spyderco tenacious

in the 35$ range, these seem like the top knives. i know the kershaw is made in the USA and the tenacious is made in china (but im pretty sure the quality control is pretty high). and i want to know what you guys think for a budget folder. i can get a kershaw shallot DLC coating blem from kershawguy for like 35 and the tenacious for like 33.

I would choose the sandvik steel over the Chinese steel any day of the week but that's me.

RAT-1 consigned my Tenacious to the storage drawer some time ago. Great knife for the price.
