Has anyone tried installing the accessory bolt-on thumb stud assembly available from several web knife dealers onto the Shallot knife blade?
To me one thing I miss on the Shallot is thumb stud opening. On larger knives I prefer it to flipper operation, particularly for a spring assisted knife. As the Shallot has almost the same 1/8" blade thickness as the Buck 110, the knife typically shown with the accessory thumb stud assembly installed, it should fit fine. I just wondered if anyone has tried it. I wish that Kershaw would include both flipper and thumb studs on all their spring assisted opening knives.
