I just got my Kershaw Shallot today..seems like a awesom knife...bought it new w/o a box on ebay for 16 bucks..feels like a soild knife..love the steel handle and frame lock...anyone else have a shallot review?

Nice price of $16. For me, i had one but ended up trading it. Guess it wasn't my cup of tea. I just couldn't see myself carrying it.

I love em, I'm not even sure how many I have, but I think I have every model, and dupes of the sprint runs. Great knife, love the size and the way it carries, $16 is a steal.

Here is one I had dressed up by Phillip Dobson:

I've got a bunch of them too. My two favorites are the ZDP combo blade, and the 110V. I swapped both with CKT handles because of their coating. Here's a pic of the ZDP FrankenShallot.

I have to say i like the plain but sleek look the knife..almost to big for EDC but its winter..good to hide in bulky clothes..

Interesting take on the knife. Like you, I think they are sleek, and the ZDP version is thinner than the others. But I've never heard anyone say a 3.25" blade is too big for EDC. :) I carry mine in jeans all the time, and I've found no problems. And for $16, you got a steal of a deal!

16$? Sounds like a steal! I've been looking for one but I can't find one for anything under $50...

They look like very nice knives, in spite of the recurve (I can't stand recurve)...Kind of like a Leek with a gland problem :P

I've got a couple with some STR lowride clips on them. Lovem'. They just disappear in my pocket.

I love them too.
Couldn't do much with ZDP-189, but it's a really good knife as it is.
But, CPM 110V shallot got new heat treatment from Phil Wilson, exactly 64HRC and then regrind from Tom Krein... Doesn't get any better than that.
