Kershaw Shun Sharpener

could it be? A kershaw replacement for the sharpmaker? Then I could sharpen my kershaws with a kershaw. I eagerly await more info
 
are electrical sharpeners any good and do they actually get knives sharp with a clean grind, or do they just cut the crap out of the blades?
 
Is 16 degrees a little small for anything but a kitchen knife? I guess that is 16 per side 32 total. I use more like 20 to 22 per side 40 to 44 total.

I guess it just depends on your preference. I take a lot of my EDC's down
to 12 per side. I'm just a sucker for a nice thin edge. It takes a little more
up keep and the edge isn't as stable when you thin them out but it's just
a trade off I don't mind. Everyone has there preference, and there's no right
or wrong. It just depends on what you like, IMHO.
