I have a Strobe and I'm really impressed with it. If the action on these Nura's are anything like my Strobe, well, let's just say a lot of people are going to like them.

I think I would have preferred a stonewash, but it still looks very good the way it comes.

Man I wish they'd use at least aus8 or 440c steel.

The problem is then they'd have to import that steel to their Chinese manufacturing plant. If it's made in China, it makes sense to use a Chinese steel.
8CR is not so bad, I just don't like how it's not very corrosion resistant. Since this blade is coated I think it's a good fit.

I'm on a roll with being impressed by these inexpensive Kershaw's so this evening I ordered the Nura 3.5 to see if the streak will continue.

This past month I've picked up the Scrambler, Thermite, CQC-7K Tanto and my new favorite budget folder, the Blur (1670BW). I can't believe that the Blur has been out there this long and I'm just now finding out what an incredible (regardless of price) EDC it is. I LOVE my higher priced folders, yet I've been having a great time lately finding new, well-built and extremely well designed Kershaw folders that are still able to scratch that itch for a new EDC.

My hat's off to Kershaw and and the great designers/makers they've been working with lately for bringing these outstanding knives to market at such reasonable prices.

I just got one the other day. I hate it! im waiting to send it back.its tight & wont flip without using your wrist. it came with light scratches near the pivot. when you finish stainless steel in this way its going to scratch very easily.this was scratched out of the box. it looked great on the video I saw but for me I do not like this one.it might flip better if I loosen the pivot, but I just don't like this one so I want to send it back.even though its a 3.5" blade, the whole knife feels small & thin.id rather have a little more for this size then that.

Several companies either do import 440c to china or are calling what ever they are using 440c (Boker is a big example). The difference between Aus8, 8cr, & Chinese 440c is a bit of a wash depending on the company. Some is done Aus8 really well. I also don't mind my knives in 8cr, but the price paid is a defining factor. Companies like Kershaw and Spyderco seem to understand what people are willing to pay for 8cr. CRKT, not so much. The Fossil with 8cr for $60 bucks? Really?

I like the looks of this knife. The bearings are a plus. Price seems about right for an 8cr blade. Might have to pick one up. I think Kershaw will sell a ton of these.
