I have noticed some of the models have marks of what the blade is made of and some do not. For example the Walmart 1760x and the brown and tan has no markings of the blade material. So the questions is which ones are marked with blade material and why? Can the Kershaw reps clear this up?

Example From Top right to bottom left, 1760-not sure of origin(No Blade Material), 1760dob from 2 brothers with custom wood grip(With Blade Material), 1760rd from Kershawguy(with Blade material), 1760brnckt(No blade material):

Been doing alot of searching in the last month, weren't there earlier models made in 13C before the switch to 14? Maybe thinking of the Zing, I have one of each model. Neither has any blade material markings. Not that it matters to me, so I was also curious if the OP was on to something.

Cool Skylines. Gots to find me one of the them thar' tan ones.

I am trying to figure out why Kershaw made some of the plain Jane models (1760) with the type of material stamped and some not. I think the models made in 2008 has the date printed on the lower part of the hosel.
