Kershaw Skyline born on date?

I just picked up a Skyline at wallyworld.
The Package says it is the 14C28H steel, but the born on date is Nov 08. Wouldn't that mean is is in fact a 13C?
Can anyone give me the date of the switch to the 14C28H? (what date to look for)
I've also heard that no Born on date signifies the new steel. Not sure.
I'm sorry if this is found easily, but I've spent a quite while searching with no luck.
Thanks

Switch to 14C28N was complete by about March '09. As far as packaging goes I don't know. Mine is dated May '09 and labeled on the blade 14C28N.

Hope this helps

It is 13C. All blades with 13C were switched over to 14C Mar/09. They're both great steels IMO.
Oh, no BOD=14C.

EDIT: Fast14 beat me to it...:p :D

Really good to know.
I can put my new one back into the blister pack and then take it back to Wally 1, then go to Wally 2 and buy the one in a box with no born on date.
I'm sure the 13c26 is good but if Kershaw upgraded, then that would be the steel I'd prefer.
Thanks a bunch!

Guess that satisfies my curiosity too. I've had a Wally Skyline in the box for a while now (Should carry it I Know). So no blister pack, newer(?) red box and no date stamp means its the 14C? Its also bead blast and the finer texture G10.

Mine came in the blister pack and is 14c28n, no BOD.
