Kershaw Skyline model?

I seen a pic of a Skyline with digital G-10 scales in the EDC thread. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this model?
Here is the pic from the EDC thread for reference (hope its ok Jthomas).

:eek: Looks great, I hadn't heard anything about it either, but with all the LE projects Kershaw works on it wouldn't surprise me. Any chance he had someone make handles for it, I did a quick search and I haven't came up with anything?
 
I sent that knife out to Jthomas. I owed him a Skyline, and this one was convenient and close so I sent it.(Hope he likes this camo over std. black :o) It incorporates a proto handle finish, think I had like 3 or 4 built up like this. It's never been produced to date.
 
:D Thanks for the quick response Thomas I can now quit searching online dealers, any chance of seeing digi camo handle offerings in the future?

You guys should think about making some more , I'd buy one for sure.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. I would love to get my hands on one of the these. I tried to get a red skyline off of kershawguy but missed out on the regular version and didnt care for the snapon blade.
The digi is a for sure winner in my book. I also like the look of snow digi.
 
In theory, how many units would a vendor have to commit to in order to get an item like this in production?

If that is top secret business strategery, no answer is required. :)

For this particular knife, a run of 600 pieces would get it done.
 
Blade forums special edition skyline? There have to be at least 600 takers here:D.

I love the Skyline model. I just bought on with black scales from Walmart for $34.99. Custom scales would be nice too!
