I'm buying some knives benchmade Griptilian, kabar Becker bk2, and the kershaw skyline.
I love the design, but it does not have steel liners only on the side with it... Is it still strong and lasting

Provided you don't abuse it, it'll last for years on end, much like every other well made production folder.

Thank you. I don't really abuse knives I dont pry or cut cans. But I can deffinately were a knife out(cheap Walmart gerber knife) so hopefully it will work out good

In order of "strength:
BK2 > Griptillian > Skyline.

All of these knives should last you a very long time, essentially repeating what Skimo above me posted. If you really wanna whack on something, just use that nifty BK2 you got.

Strength was not a major concern when they designed the Skyline. It was designed to be a light, slim with a decently sized usable utility blade for EDC light duty. In that respect, they knocked it OUT OF THE PARK.

I love mine because it's thinner than most Kershaw Leek models, weighs less, and has a similarly sized handle while hold a much much nicer and more usable blade shape.

The Skyline will hold up fine, just dont wrist flick it as hard & fast as you can when you open it & do not chop try to cut things like its a sword ( swinging & cutting a branch for example). Mine held up fine till I did the things listed here, the stud on the non liner side has dug in deep on the G10 & I have side to side blade play. I have fixed that by filling in the dented G10 with JB Weld. It locks up rock solid now.
