Kershaw Spec Bump question--pocket clip

I enjoyed carrying a REKAT Carnivore Cub for a few years until the clip fell off and I nearly lost the thing in a parking lot. It appears that the liners were not used to anchor the clip in place. the handles were G-10 (I think). The handles were drilled and tapped for the screw. Not a very secure arrangement.

I would like to purchase the Kershaw Spec Bump. How is the clip secured? Do the screws reach the liner?

I don't own a Spec Bump so please take what I say with a grain of salt. I've handled the knife a few times and the clip does seem to permeat into the liner securely but i could be wrong as I was more focused on its opening mechanism. I have a Kershaw Blur which is a great knife, but the clip was poorly made and warps pretty easily. Granted there is a considerable price difference between my knife and the one you're getting so hopefully that problem won't happen to you.

I pulled the clip off the SB I had and the screws definitely go into the steel liners.

Thanks for the reply, gentlemen. I called Kershaw today and left a message with one of their customer reps. I was surprised when she called back within 15 minutes. Kersaw epoxies a metal sleeve into the handle. The G10 is not tapped.
