I finally managed to get my hands on a Kershaw SpeedForm Ti after a year of searching. I have been putting together a collection of limited edition knives and i plan to hand the collection over to my son on his 21st birthday. I want to give him as much info as i can about each knife in the hope that he will appreciate them as much as i do. As the SpeedForm had a limited run and the knives are serialized, i contacted Kershaw to find out how many were Manufactured/Sold as this is obviously important information when cataloging a collection. The response i got was very disappointing, Kershaw refuse to divulge how many knives they manufacture even if they are limited edition models. I was actually advised by the service representative, that if i want any information on their knives i should try the forums!
I would really appreciate it if any of you know how many of these knives are out there, and if someone has an explanation as to why the manufacturer would refuse to supply that information it would also be much appreciated.
