Who has one of these? I've wanted one for a very long time, specifically the 1410 with titanium handles, and now I've found one on ebay. I have no idea what they're worth, though.

If you have one (or the G10 version, or the 1415), how do you like it? How's the fit and finish compared to some modern knives in the same price range? Speaking of which, how much did you pay for it?

These knives are some of the best looking I think I've ever seen. Right now, I think I'm going to spend about $100 at the most, is that about what they generally go for?
 
I have the Ti one. Got it used on ebay with a Kershaw Storm for $45 a few years ago. It is way heavier than the newer Ti knives that I have. It just has Ti scales and a steel liner lock. It would not be worth $100 to me. The Buck Vantage Pro blows it away and can be had for less than $50.
 
I got one to go with my hawksbill, I think it was called the Talon, which got a lot of use in the old days. They are both pretty heavy, as in heavy duty. They hold up to real work. Good liner locks, neat opening system with the grooved tang. ATS-34 held a nice edge, too. Actually, the Talon only got retired in favor of my first Sebenza.

I don't know what a good price would be. I paid $75 two years ago.
 
Is that a kershaw talon modified? I would be interested in purchasing it. Kershaw 1421

I have had one for well over 10 years, regularly take it in salt water.still a great knife.paid 100.00 for it in a knife store back then and would again,,,tough knife ,and legal size .occasionally needs tightening,sharpening and cleaning that's it !
