I saw a pic of the new Onion Seagal at Moteng, but I hadn't heard anything about it before, anybody know what the backstory is on this knife?

Damn thing looks like a Benchmade... forgot what model...
it's got a signature of some jewish guy who thinks he's Japanese...

What a gimmick, I think I'll buy one...:p

I like the looks of it. I could do without the signature on the blade, but it looks good. I like the stingray inlay, nice touch.

Blade steel? Somebody please tell me it will have something other than 420HC or 440A for a blade!

3.63 in. AUS8A stainless steel blade. Anodized aluminum with a stingray inlay handle. 5 in. closed blade length. Removable/reversible pocket clip. Locking liner. With a weight of 5.5 ozs

Hey, I can live with AUS-8A. No need for the barf symbol on this one. Hopefully, the price will be reasonable too.

It wouldn't be too bad if it didn't have that Steven character's name on it. Can't stand his movies. Everytime I see a preview for a new movie of his I cringe and wonder about the sorry affairs of the movie industry.

I like this knife design a lot. I would like to see a neck knife designed exactly like this folder. I also like Steven Segal movies; you just have to take them for what they are. Basic hoo haa, kick the crap outta the bad guy kinda movies, and not expect super great acting out of anybody involved. I also like the way Segal fights(realistic or not). It seems like he is one of the few action movie stars that actually move out of the way as a punch or kick is coming, and use the enemy's momentum against them.

Hmmm. A knife company that uses someone's name -- who probably had very little to do with designing it -- in order to sell the knife.

Kinda sounds like Masters of Defense! :o
