Kershaw Storm Problem

Hey guys. I just received my Kershaw Storm today in the mail. Fit and finish is really great, and its super sharp. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable amount of up and down blade play when open. This isn't normal is it? I've always heard that Kershaw's QC was really good. Its a shame, I really like the knife other than the blade play.
 
Hmm. Mine lock up rock solid. I'd give them a call right now. They are still open Oregon time.

Not for sure but anytime I've ordered spare parts like Speedsafe Torsion bars they are to me within 3 days maximum, and I've heard their turn around is pretty fast.

Once a few years ago I sent in a Leek to be fixed. It was back to me in under 2 weeks time. I hear most people get their knives back in 3-4 weeks but I am not positive.

Remember this was a couple years back and they may be really busy right now or something.
 
When I e-mailed to get a replacement torsion bar I found their customer service to be very good. I got the bar in a few days in the mail.

Same here. I got a bad Chive from a cheap knife stand so I sent it in, and they repaired it and got it back to me within the week.
 
They have a top notch cust. service dept. No problems there with Kershaw at all.

You don't really need to call , they will just tell you to send it. You can just mail it to them with a note telling them the problem and your return address , they will most likely grab a new one on reciept of yours and mail it out the same day that is how they do things so fast. Their customer service is unsurpassed. Address is :
