:D  After further review the knife has really grown on me. I have put it through some really vigorous testing, (no, not out of anger) such as vise-ing the blade and hanging free weights, dropping on the blade from 7-8 feet in height, and cutting just about anything I can find that normally dulls my other knives.

The freeweight test withstood 25lbs easily so I didn't pursue more on that. The drop landed almost point down and barely nudged the tip over - I removed the burr and its razor again - no problem.

Also, remember I changed the studs so I was wacking away with a hammer and no cracks, chips, etc.

Lastly the cutting tests blew me away. This is the only steel I currently own that can withhold a razor edge after the complete test. No chips, no rolls - nuttin! I tested on twist ties, plastic wire ties, wavy cuts on dense wood such as teak and redwood, as well as tons of cardboard and pine. Lastly I also did an edge tap on concrete and didn't roll or chip there either.

So, despite not being comfortable with the Storm2 originally, after some testing it really turned the tides for me on how I perceive this knife and I have a newfound respect for Sandvik13.

I also didn't realize this knife functions better as a flipper. Most flippers I see have a larger flipper and therefore are more apparent than this was to me originally. Now that seems the best way to use it.

Great! You are wellcome! It was predictable that you'll change you first impression after know it better. So, you have customized Storm II. As I know Sandvic is unique iron ore deposit wich do not have any S and P at all - gift from Mother Nature to Swedish metallurgists.

Thanks, Vassili.

Sweet! That looks like a beautiful martial art folder, nice full belly with an inline point. Hope they carry it in Canada soon.
