It looks interesting, but I have never handled one-does anyone own one, or has any info-feedback?

Costas, I've owned a serrated Talon for awhile. I like it a lot, even if it isn't my daily carry just now, it has been.

It is very solid, those titanium slabs are absolutely rigid.

The blade is almost too smooth: I routinely tighten the pivot to keep it from flying open too fast when I flick that thumb stud.

The only weak point is the liner lock, which will not resist much of a wrap on the spine of the blade. Since I don't use it for fighting, I don't care!

The blade is extremely sharp and remains that way under heavy use. The point is a needle. Be very careful with it, and don't let anyone touch it who doesn't know knives.

I just picked one up for $35 and couldn't be happier. Very well spent few dollars. Like Esav said, the handles are sturdy. Slick design and operation. I hadn't tried the spine-whack test 'til just now, and it did close after a few HARD knocks, but that shouldn't be a problem in normal day-to-day use. If you snap it open hard enough the liner will seat itself over farther and eliminate the problem. It is perfect for slicing an apple, or opening boxes, and other daily chore type stuff. I think it looks cool too. Nice knife to add to my rotation. And with Titanium scales and ATS-34 blade, you can't go wrong for under $50.00. If you need to find out where to get one for a great deal, do a search on eBay for Kershaw Talon Knife. They regularly go for $35.00.

Having sold the talon Mr. Dorn refers of to him, i will support him in his opinion that the talon is a great knife and a good value
