blade comparison to mini-griptilian...

it's sort of hard to see here but that stock goes THIN down at the very end... be very aware of cutting cardboard/plastic and don't turn that tip.

I handled one if these at a local shop and I thought it was cool! My only gripe was how thick the handle is and the clip!!

flow-through construction with nice thick G10 scales, very grippy

and some in-hand shots. it's designed for pull cuts and puts the point and edge at the right angle for it.

this is a very comfortable grip.

i'm not a student of the blade arts but it falls into reverse grip VERY nicely.

it's razor-damn sharp, the assisted opening FLIES out with authority and it disappears in the pocket. it's a little heavier than i remember my skyline being but still light. there was a teensy bit of play when i got it but i put that up to it being a display model. it tightened up fine and the loc-tite's setting now.

if you need something real thin and sharp for doing a lot of pull cuts (opening boxes/cutting tape) this'll be the thing. i wouldn't use it on rope or anything really heavy just because it's so thin.

Nice looking knife. I have one of the original Talons that I stopped carrying because the blade tended to slip open a little bit in one's pocket. Has this new one fixed that flaw? Does it have a strong detent, etc.?

Congrats! Looks sweet! I think Zero Tolerance has a Talon model coming out soon??? I'll be watching for that one:D

Why on Earth did you post pics of this knife? I'm going to have to go and buy one now...I love hawkbill style blades. Thanks for putting my wallet on a diet... :(

Also, there is a ZT variant of this blade...Touche!

Yeah, the ZT model sports S30v and AO, so it's like an upgraded version of the Kershaw one. I'd definitely get if I happen to find it. It would be nice to compare it to my P'kal, as those blades seem to have similar philosophies...

The ZT version has really nice looking G10 scales...I'd "upgrade" for that reason alone.

Best pic I could find in a hurry. It's called the 0750.

i was kinda hoping i'd stumble across the ZT version... :D

as to the detent, the torsion spring on this knife seems really stiff in comparison to other kershaws i've used. maybe it's just me, maybe it's a new knife that needs working in, or because the blade is so thin. anyway, with the spring as stiff as it is i've got no worries about it slipping open.

also, since it's so comfortable in the reverse grip but the tip is so thin, i think a "random task" style reverse tanto blade in this knife would be pretty cool. if i end up getting another i might just do that.
