I held one and feels real good in my hand.....do any of yous have one? Is a good strong blade? How does the blade hold up to rust?

Thanks for any info.

What's the deal with the knife.....nobody has it or it's crap...talk to me guys. :(

Love mine, strong spring, fits my hand great. I took out the clip and just throw it in my pocket.

Here's a review i saw on youtube.

Is this the same thing, but with a black S30V blade? Is this coming out, or is it discontinued?

Look don't know much about knives..would the talon II be a good SD knife? Right now the only knife I carry is the delica 4.
Thanks for the help.

Talon II would not be my first choice for self defense. I would much rather have a solid frame lock or a lock back like a cold steel triad. No matter what knife you choose you should invest in some training.

I believe the 0750 is going to be bigger than the Talon was. The Talon is not being made any more. And the 0750 hasn't been made yet. It has been in the catalogs for a few years now but still hasn't seen the light of day. 3rd year on paper and a big price increase this year, hoping this is the year.

I have two that I bought in December since they are being discontinued and I have a 0750 on preorder. I like them a lot. Only problem I've seen is a tendency for the blade to contact one of the support pillars. It caused a minor chip in both of my blades. The one that was a little deeper I sent back to Kershaw and took off about 1/16" of the blade to reprofile it and then put a great edge on it again. The other one is just a very shallow chip and I woon't send it back, it is barely visible.

I got it partly for defense because I use IET, forward grip, edge in. As my understanding it would be a good p'kal and Southnarc techniques knife. Don't get me wrong, for defense I'm not too thrilled about the liner lock and still on the fence about the assisted opening, but it feels so natural in the FGEI and box cutter grips.

Mine has the same chip on the blade, i thought it was something i did. Didn't know that's what might have caused it. i would also use it edge in for trapping or regular grip for gunting. either way i like the talon. If the ZT feels just as good i'll get one too
