kershaw tanto blur

Just got another blur today, and noticed that they changed the logo on the scale to say "Kershaw Speedsafe USA" instead of "Kershaw Ken Onion USA". Anyways I just thought it was weird and wondered if KO didn't want his name on these knives anymore or what.. blade is dated APR 09. Any other thoughts on this?

I'm just assuming it's because Ken isn't contracted with Kershaw
anymore. They still have a relationship and may do more collabs
if I remember correctly.
 
So even though the design is by Ken Onion the name is removed once the contract is up? :confused:

I did say I was just assuming. I don't know for sure. If you really need to know, your best bet would be to contact Kershaw directly.
But then again, I would assume contracts and details between Kershaw and there designers are kept confidential.
