Kershaw. What a company!

If you don't know, Kershaw makes great knives and is arguably the best knife company to buy a knife from, and just about one of the best flat out companies to do business with. Their customer service is top notch and should win some awards if it has not already.

They have a variety of knives to suit your needs whether it be for the outdoors or kitchen use, and award winning knife makers like Ken Onion, Frank Centofante and others.

They truly care about their customers and how they are received in the knife business and show it each time they introduce a new knife thorough innovative designs or customer feedback.

In my personal experience, they are the best in this business and I have enjoyed their work and greatly appreciated their customer service.

Who am I?

I am nobody of importance, I do not work for them, I am just a customer turned fan and have decide on my own to write this in appreciation of a great company. I own a total of 10 Kersahaw's and feel that every dime I have spent into this company has paid off in a quality product and backed by a great company.

I have may interests and have done business with many companies in my living experience and have never written a testimonial of statement of this nature to, or about any other company or business that I have dealt with.

But Kershaw deserves it.

Any of you have a Kershaw story or kudos to give, feel free.

P.S. Shot out to Thomas who spends much of his time and off hours to answer our questions and help us out with our needs.

You than man!

Finally Kershaw gets it's due and we Kershaw fans have a place to call home.

+1 by far! Kershaw does indeed have the best customer service, and that Thomas guy kicks ass too! ;)

Amen! I love Kershaw!

I'll take your word on the customer service, because I have never had a problem with any of my Kershaws. ;)

I started out as a Spyderco and BM fan and Kershaw quickly became my favorite Mfr after I picked up my first Kershaw. I commend Kershaw for their ability to offer knives with such a high level of quality materials, quality construction, attention to detail, made in the USA, great aesthetics, and at an amazing price point that's often half the price of equivalent offerings from other brands. I have too many knives already, but I know I'll add more Kershaws to my collection in my lifetime.

i will say ive been through alot of knives and never really had any kershaws untill recently. interestingly now that i do own some they are the only manufacturer that ill be buying. Not because other knives are bad its just the kershaws are so well made and for such a good price that i dont even have a reason to look elsewhere. Lets just say im glad they are around. and ive had to contact customer service before a few times and never did i feel like i was a burden. Finally a company i can depend on and trust.

By far my two favorite knife companies are Kershaw and Spyderco. I wish more companies had the same philosophy. Three mindsets that describe these companies: Quality first, Customer Service, do the right thing and the customer will come back.

all companies should be that way. at least our fav is :D

Stephan, couldn't have said it better. i agree 110%.

btw, like A.P.F., i've never had to utilize Kershaw CS because i've never had a problem with any of my Kershaws.

I bought my first proper folder from Kershaw. At this point in time I own only 2 folders and a bunch of fixed blades. I choose to use cheaper folders because my knives see a lot of use. The Scamp and the Crown are both from their "value" line. I would ask no more of a folding knife. Seriously forget about S30V and other super steels. Other knives with the same materials appear to cost far more. Even if they are as good as the Kershaw offerings, why would I buy them?

My much loved and even more abused Scamp is still the knife I reach for at all times.

Viva Kershaw!

Every Kershaw I've held I've been impressed with. I've only got a ZT, but I've gifted about 10 Kershaws. Its the only company that I suggest to non-knife people that want a good knife.

A few years ago my wife gave me my first Kershaw as a gift. I was really inpressed with it and soon had a couple others. They are just as impressive as the first. They get rotated as my EDC and I haven't had any problems with them. I really like how sharp they come from the factory.

I agree I have had my Scamp awhile and just recently started EDC it.Man it really is a great knife i fell in love with it.Only thing that pushed it out of my EDC is the Kershaw Ram..But i have 23 Kershaw like I said so i mix it up the scamp is at the top of the list for sure..Only thing is i wish it had gimping

My first quality folder was a little Kershaw Chive, ever since then Ive been in LOVE with the brand! They make some amazing knives in ALL price ranges. Ive owned knives from them in a range of prices: Kershaw Storm, Speed Bump, Chive, Leak ..Zero Tolerance 350DLC x2, 350SW, 200, 303.. And they are all amazing! Their CS is awesome! They really take care of us Kershaw Lovers!

YMMV but I have never felt the need for gimping on the Scamp and I have cut forearm thick saplings with it.
I suppose considering how much you paid for it, taking a a small diamond file to it is not out of the question :D Just 5-6 "gimps" over the thumbstud would sort you out.

It breathes deep, takes a decent run-up and kicks ass unreasonably hard.
