Kershaw Thermite clip question

Hi guys,

Was looking for the Kai/Kershaw Manufacturers forum, didn't see one, maybe I'm just completely inept and missed it.

Anyway recently picked up a Thermite on a few recommendations, but I can't seem to get it to screw into the left side for left side carry. The screws are pretty small and to be fair the two sides are different materials, so maybe even though they have holes for all sides and up down carry, it only really goes to the metal right side.

If any other owners have had these issues of switching sides for the clip and could give me any help I'd appreciate it. I know it's hard to give any such advice or experience for these tasks online so I appreciate it.

The Kai/Kershaw has been gone for a while. We all miss it. What happens when you try to screw the clip into the side with the G10? Any knife I have the screws have been long enough to go through the G10 and catch the threads in the frame below. If they don't you should contact Kershaw and I'm sure that they will send you screws long enough to fix this.

It may definitely be a screw length problem, those screws are certainly tiny. Thanks for the advice, I'll write to Kershaw and see what happens. I think longer screws can do the trick.

Hadn't heard that with the Thermite but a couple of people on here had that issue with the ZT0566. They contacted KAI and got appropriate length screws at no charge. I'm sure you'll find the same thing.
