This is my full testing process on the Kershaw Tilt in VANAX 75, that is cutting 5/8" Manila rope then moving straight to cardboard then right to wood cutting without touching the edge.
The Edge was reprofiled to 18 degrees per side or 36 degrees inclusive in my Edge Pro using the Congress Silicon Carbide 320 Grit Stone then finished off with the Congress Silicon Carbide 400 grit stone and stropped on a Silicon Carbide Loaded strop.
First off was the Rope cutting, I made 120 Cuts on 5/8" Manila rope, the edge would still slice printer paper easy after.
Next up was Cardboard, I cut a lot of cardboard, the knife did very well and is a very good slicer, would still slice printer paper easy after the cardboad.
Last was the Wood cutting, I pushed the edge very hard making hard deep cuts and then lighter cuts to see how well the edge held up, then more deeper cuts again.
Conclusion
The knife did very well overall, was comfortable to use and didn't develop any kind of issues like blade play. Vanax 75 is a very good steel and performed extremely well as it should have for a high percentage Vanadium steel. It's takes a very nice edge and wasn't too hard to sharpen, it's on par with steels like S90V and 20CP.
