Hello, i have been wanting to move the clips on several Kershaws as well as swap clips on two blurs. I bought a Kershaw Torx tool on eBay and started trying to do so today. I was able to remove the screws on my g-10 Tyrade but the screws will not go all the way in on the other side of the handle. The yscrew just fine until about 1/2 way or 3/4 of the way and then just stop going in. The screws appear to be turning, but they do not go anywhere. After about a half hour spent unscrewing and trying to re adjust in case the angle is off or something, i got nowhere. Frustrated, i turned to my Blurs. I cannot even get the screws to turn on them. I cannot get a grip on the tool tight enough. I eventually broke the skin on my palm trying to turn them. Finally, all that to ask this. Is there a better tool that i do not know about? This slick, thin, black tool is not doing the job it seems. Or should i just send them all to Kershaw and ask them to do it? Only problem there is that one of the Blurs is a Blem. Will they even refuse to move the clip from that blur to another? Thanks for any and all input....my hand hurts....need a sponge to clean my keyboard now.

The benchmade BlueBox torx tool is very cool and provides much more leverage. It comes with 2x T6, 2x T8 and 2x T10s i think. It is all stored in the handle and even has a clip if you want to carry it with you, and the best part, is only around $10. As for the warranty issue, i have no idea. But kershaw has been incredible for me. Bending over backward to help me out. You should contact them via email.

I'm down Saco-way at the moment, though I'm heading back up to Bar Harbor on Monday. Two of my aunts like in Kennebunk! :D
