Kershaw Trace - reliable beater?

At a local seller, I came across the Kershaw Trace. (Long time discontinued model?)

Apart from the tacky-looking tiger stripes (as it's a cheap knife and not an expensive ZT), the Trace does look like a capable and reliable beater.

Is there anyone left with some actual firsthand experience?

Not that it's expensive, but I'd hate wasting even $30 on something that's really not worth it.

Thank you.

PS: while well-intentioned and appreciated, please don't suggest any alternatives as the market where I live is sooooo limited and I just get frustrated about stuff I can't obtain.

I had one. Heavy, the clip is non removable. The action is the regular speed safe so there that. No lanyard hole. These can be had for around 20 bucks brand new so don’t expect anything great. I’m pretty sure I gave mine to a truck driver that didn’t have a knife one day. Liner lock stuck often and I never could get it dialed in. Not terrible but not good.

Checked eBay/online and these are still available for around 20 shipped. If you buy it expecting a 10 dollar knife you should be good.
