Rescaled,deassisted,acid stonewashed,heat anodized liners and pocket clip.I also drilled a detent hole in the blade.The detent ball was already in the liner lock bar.I still need to do some small tweeks to dial it in but I like it alot more than stock.

Lots of work for a $25 knife. It looks great by the way. I have one and have often thought of doing some custom work on it, but not sure just what. Now I have some ideas. Thanks for that! I bought mine to experiment with, and because I like the blade shape and size. Mine is hair popping sharp, and stays sharp after moderate use. I cut some brush behind the house, and it would still shave arm hair. Great knife for the investment. Good work.

I have a few questions:

1. Does heat anodizing the liners affect their rockwell (this being a liner lock would it decrease the liner's wear resistence?
2. Did you make the pocket clip? I have always wanted to attempt one but am not sure what steel i would use (spring?)

I love modding my own knives and usually only mod cheap knives under $50. I don't feel bad if I screw them up (and I've screwed up quite a few!)

Again, that knife is beautiful

Yes heat anodizing would soften the liner lock and screw it up, but to me it almost looks like he soaked he liners in vinegar to get a rusty patina.
 
Thanks everyone! I did heat ano the liners.I just stayed away from the lock face. I did not make that clip I got it from usknifemaker ......I think.
