Kershaw Tremor or Ontario Rat 1, Which One Should I Buy First ?

I'm planning on ordering some budget knives and I really like the Tremor and Rat 1. I want both but which one should I get first.

I think the Tremor looks like a good price and the blade shape looks better than the Rat 1 and it also has a finger guard and flipper which the Rat 1 doesn't have....but then again the Rat 1 has a long reputation of being a solid budget knife and its a proven folder....I'm lookin forward to having my hands on both of these knives but I could only afford one this month.
 
Yeah, I agree with the Rat-1. Like a good hoarder, I have both. The Tremor is fun, and its a big honkin' knife with assisted opening, but for daily carry the Rat-1 is much more civilized. And plenty capable. The Rat-1 is a killer piece of knife for $30.
 
the only thing is that I could get a Tremor for $22 free shipping and the Rat 1 is $30 free shipping, plus I like the blade shape on the Tremor more than the Rat 1.
 
I didn't like the feel of the Tremor. The handle shape didn't suit me and it felt sort of blocky. The AO felt weak too. It's an ok knife but really it's pretty big for edc.
 
I have come to the conclusion that the Rat 1 will last longer than the Tremor so I should just snag up a Rat 1 ASAP.....the speed safe on the Tremor will eventually break and the Rat 1 wont have those type of issues.
 
Yup, Rat 1 has a great rep and is a great knife. It is well known for a great budget hard use knife. Also comes in a variety of colors as well!
 
I have a Rat-1 and I love the heck out of it. I seriously can't believe it only cost $30. I'd go for the Rat.
 
Had the Tremor. It was just wrong in my hand every which way. Fun to flip at red lights though. I gave it to my coworker.
 
Just get both. I love the tremor. I can't believe it only costed me 20$. it has g10 too which I like better than rat 1s scales.
 
I'd say get the Rat1, but I have to be honest, I have never handled the Tremor. I love my Rat1 and is my favorite larger folder. I like it much better than knives 3x the price. I just wish it came in G10. Regardless, you will not be sorry you got the Rat1! Heck of a knife regardless of the price.
 
Another vote for the Rat-1. Great knife. I liked it so much straight out of the box I went right back and ordered a second. Was showing my knife collection to a buddy and the 'spare' Rat-1 was the one he set aside saying it was the one he would like to get some day. He wound up buying mine form me, and last time we went hunting together it was the two Rats we had in our pockets. Can't beat them for the bucks.
